Chevalier: Still impressive
...and this is why no matter what else there is in my life, there is always anime.

(if this was ten years ago, I would gladly drop several thousand dollars on *that* cel. But, alas...)

"Want a long and luxurious barn burner? Try Gregorian chant interspersed with NIN." - Gizmodo, on one of the *apparently several* vibrator...uh...accessories for the iPod.

The single most amusing thing about Renaissance is watching the different ways in which reviews try to *describe* the bloody thing without just telling you to go and watch the trailer. My favorite *by far* is still the Onion's "The movie looks like constantly shifting two-tone wallpaper."

After sitting through the Xenosaga III ending, trying to be amused by Blue Dragon...or, really, *any* other JRPG (...or at least any other JRPG whose main selling point is characters designed by Akira Toriyama)...just Does. Not Work.

Heh, I also just finished Xenosaga III, to which, I say, WTF??. Biblical Person -> KOS-MOS -> Nephilim/Miang? Gah!

Granted, Xenosaga and Xenogears diverged a bit, but I'm still not sure I see how you get from the end of Xenosaga III to Xenogears.

OTOH, this does explan the question of how the Xenogears planet can exist for ten thousand years with the Zohar on it without anyone from Xenosaga's Federation noticing...
